He self-published two books: ‘Obruni’ (2014) & ‘Those who eat fish from the cyanide lake improve their sex life’ (2016). In the same year the Fotomuseum of Antwerp selected him as upcoming talent. He graduated with the greatest honours as Master in Visuals Arts at School of Arts/KASK, Ghent.
He currently lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium.

‘Alla & Valerian’ is part of a new series in which Bachot explores his environment in Romania, his second home.
