Since my tweens I have been indulged in online worlds. When ostracized by the physical bodies around me, I found community and refuge in the digital ones. My computer cradled me and taught me new ways of being and navigating the world. Even when offline, I am my avatar. Recent technological advances are causing a lot of anxiety in the public mind. Are we flying too close to the sun? With my work I want to bring back an optimistic view towards modern tech. Through digital media I see hope for a better furture and a platform for progression.

Within digital spaces we move and are mobilized to lay contacts and establish relationships with people all around the world. Never before have we been more in touch with the multitude of (virtual) bodies around us. Tangled in wires, we are connected.
