FAZAR ROMA AGUNG WIBISONO

I am Fazar Roma Agung Wibisono, a painter from Bandung, Indonesia. I studied fine arts by studying at a high school of fine arts and design, then continued to a university of fine arts and design, especially pure fine arts. After graduating, I worked at an art gallery in Yogyakarta, Indonesia as a painter with a 7-year contract. Now, I am just a freelance painter and continuing my career as a painter.

I started working when I started high school of fine arts then continued to college of fine arts and design to be able to learn more about fine arts, practice materials in working initially on paper as well as on canvas using watercolors, oil paints as well as acrylics then started painting with other media from used materials such as used skateboard decks, milk cartons and other used materials, and sometimes working on wall murals.

In practice, in the theme of my work, I use a theme or series as a reference in my work because it makes it easier for me to focus on each of my works. for technical styling in using surrealism, cartoons, lowbrow art, symbolic and semi-realistic techniques.

Replanting plants or trees is something that is very much needed today for the sustainability of our environment—whether at home, in nearby community areas, urban or rural settings, or on a broader scale for the well-being of the planet. Planting becomes especially important as conditions begin to heat up, both in terms of climate and the ecological impact on life in this world.

We can start in small ways, but consistently—treating replanting as a study or habit, where people in all parts of the world begin replanting in their own environments. This could involve plants that are easy to grow, such as those for medicinal use, cooking, or even rare plants that are native to their regions.

Maybe this won’t be easy. It shouldn’t be approached as pressure or harsh criticism, but rather as an appeal—a gentle suggestion arising from our shared awareness and conscience toward the environment. Hopefully, through these efforts, we can contribute—even in a small way—to better oxygen recycling and a more balanced ecosystem.
