REGISTRATION FEE
When can I pay the registration fee?
Once the upload of your work is done you will be able to make the payment of the registration fee.
How can I pay the registration fee?
Payment can be made with Visa, Paypal, IDeal and Bank Contact.
How can I select a different payment method than Visa?
By clicking on the blue button on the upload page you will have access to the other payment options.
On which bank account should I make the payment?
The registration fee is paid online when you upload your artwork, so it is automatically transferred to the right account.
Do I get a refund of the registration fee if my work is not selectedfor the biennale?
The registration fee is not refundable.

How do I submit my artwork through the open call?

Does the artwork have to be digital?
Yes, the artwork you want to submit must be uploaded via the website as a digital file. In the case that your artwork is not created in digital media you can upload a photo or a scan of your work.
What are the technical specifications?
Image dimensions : 810 x 1135 mm VERTICAL Resolution: 300 DPI Color Mode: RGB Save as TIFF (LZW or No compression) Works that contain text: save as PDF (High-Quality Print)
File name: First name – Surname – Title
The final size will be 840 x 1189 mm Visible part of the work = 810 x 1135 mm
Do I need to mention my name and the title on the artwork?
No, the Onboards Biennale will do place your name and the title of the work on the billboard.
Can it be an existing / older work?
We ask artists to preferably submit an artwork that was created specifically for the Biennale.
When should my work be submitted?
You can upload your artwork at any time. The deadline is May 20, 2021 (extended to 30 May 2021).
With how many works can I participate?
Each artist may submit maximum 1 artwork.

How do I know if my work has been selected for the ONBOARDS Biennale?
If you have submitted your work thriugh the open call, you will receive an email from the ONBOARDS teams with the jury’s decision at the latest on June 5th.

Het inschrijvingsgeld wordt online betaald bij het uploaden van het werk. Het komt dus automatisch op het juiste rekeningnummer terecht.
Krijg ik het inschrijvingsgeld terug wanneer mijn werk niet geselecteerd is?
Het inschrijvingsgeld/fee wordt dan niet terugbetaald.

Moet het werk digitaal zijn?
Ja, het werk moet geüpload worden via de website in een digitaal bestandsformaat. Het kan natuurlijk een foto of scan zijn van een werk dat niet-digitaal gemaakt is.
Wat zijn de specificaties voor het werk?
De maximale afmeting voor de beelden is: 810 x 1135 mm Resolutie: 300 Dpi
Kleurmodus: RGB Het beeld moet opgeslagen worden als TIFF (LZW or No compression)
Werken die tekst bevatten als onderdeel van het werk: bewaar als PDF (High-Quality Print)
Bestandsnaam: Voornaam – Achternaam – Titel – Naam
De uiteindelijke afmeting van het werk zal 840 x 1189 mm zijn. Het zichtbare gedeelte van het werk = 810 x 1135 mm

Nee, de Onboards Biennale plaatst uw naam en de titel van het werk op het billboard.
Mag het een bestaand/ouder werk zijn?
Wij vragen dat de kunstenaars bij voorkeur specifiek voor de biënnale een werk creëren.
Wanneer moet mijn werk ingediend worden?
U kan uw werk op elke moment uploaden. De deadline is 20 mei 2021 (verlengd tot 30 mei 2021)
Kan ik met meerdere werken deelnemen?
Elke kunstenaar mag maximaal 1 werk indienen.
SELECTIE
Hoe weet ik of mijn werk geselecteerd is voor de Onboards biënnale?
Ten laatste op 5 juni krijgt u een bericht over de beslissing van de jury of uw werk dat via de open call ingediend is, geselecteerd is of niet voor de biënnale.
